could you have ANY degree and then take an education course later if you decided you wanted to teach?
Yes. If you just want to study English, for example, you can do so. Same goes if you just want to study Biology, Philosophy, or any other subject. And within four years you can graduate with a degree in said subject. You can also just go to college and take several classes Freshmen year to see what interests you the most, then Sophomore year you settle in and get to business. Lots of College.
Actually no. Starting teachers generally don't want more than a Bachelor's degree as they require more pay and fewer schools will be willing to hire them.

Education specific obviously... talk a guidance counselor at your school or at a university you're planning to attend...

it says your from Zimbabwe so surely there are different requirements there than in where ever it is everyone else is from. So this is really the wrong place for you to look, find a guidance counselor or something
