I'm taking a linguistics class right now and it's got to be the most interesting class I've taken so far (granted, this is my first semester). Since class started I've been noticing all the nuances in speech and such. I'm absolutely enthralled by it.

How about you all?

I really liked my Comp II class because of the teacher. Even though she was a liberal bitch, it was a fun class because all we did was debate current events...in a fun way. Yeah.

Aaaand I sorta liked my Statistics class this summer, but that's also because of the teacher and how super easy the class was.

I don't like any of my classes this semester though. They're all shitty, especially my Expository Writing class. I thought it would have been a little fun, since I do like to write, but it's a bunch of crap. The topics are retarded and the teacher hardly speaks any english. Ugh.

i took a sexuality studies class that was pretty interesting.
but my overall most interesting would have to be constitutional law, which i took last semester. my prof was chemerinsky, who is really well known in his field. a lot of the supreme court cases he presented to us were cases in which he had actually argued as an attorney, so he knew all these random details about the cases. such an awesome professor. i even emailed him one time for legal advice and he happily wrote me back.

I took a linguistics class and now teach english as a second language.  The linguistics come in handy when explaining how to form letters and sounds.

What's your expository writing class in? English? How can a teacher who hardly speaks any english teach english exposition?
