A) Considering what she did was wrong, raising interest rates on already financially crippled people, I would consider her murder, and the equal distribution of her money throughout the neighbourhood justifiable. As technically what she was doing was like murder, taking peoples money, so they could not afford medicines, food, shelter, and would die possibly. B) As justifiable as I find it, I would more than likely not do it. However, if it was a dire situation, and it would grossly improve the lives of many innocent, and deserving people, then perhaps I would.

You can't kill someone just for being unpleasant. Although she was a bitch for having such high interest rates, it isn't her fault. She didn't force anyone to use her company. The interest rates should be known from the initial pawn, and therefore she made her living semi-honestly.

I would have to go with no on both questions. While it may seem that some people's morals are subject to circumstance, I feel as if morals should be definite and stable. I think murder is wrong when the situation is not so that another is directly in the position of dying unless the first is killed, and even in such a situation, I'm not sure that I, myself, could kill. Just because the woman did something unkind, perhaps immoral, or is cast as a "bad person," doesn't mean that she deserves such a fate as being killed. If she is dying anyway, the result of money being able to be distributed will be reached soon enough, and considering this, killing her shortly beforehand would be nearly pointless, aside from illegal and immoral.

To the OP: It was her life. That she chose to live it poorly and cause others distress is no reason to kill her and take her money. There are more honest means of gaining money than murdering an old woman, crotchety though she may be.

Good and evil are human concepts, in reality neither exist its all perspective. however I don't think anyone can answer this without being a hypocrite unless you say that capitalism is bad or a starving community is a good thing.
