I haven't seen my boyfriend since January and I miss him very much. We made plans to see each other several different times but his Mom cancelled two of the trips and my Dad cancelled the third. We now have plans scheduled for November over break but I'm kind of nervous...

Next to feeling really uncomfortable around his family (long story), I'm kind of worried about the money...

The first time we met, my Dad paid.
The second time we were together, my boyfriend paid about $60.
The third time we saw each another, I paid about $150.

I was kind of hoping that he could pay for this trip because my Dad is retired and my Mom just got laid off so that extra bit of money that was being put in my account every two weeks is gone. I don't have a job now because I'm in school and I just can't do it, I can't keep up in class and have a job, too, I have too much homework and need too much time and tutoring to get it done. If this trip weren't coming up, my not having a job wouldn't be an issue, I don't need anything and I have about $200 with me (which is not what I started out with...I had to buy stuff for my room that I did not anticipate).

My boyfriend is a DJ, he has five gigs coming up between the 25th and the 15th of next month which should bring in about $2,000 or so. His Dad is also a doctor so his family has a lot more money than mine does. It doesn't seem right that they keep most of what he earns and only give him a little bit...and expect me to pay for everything on what I have left. I just wish he could take care of this one, I'm getting really nervous, I won't be able to work full time again for a year, when I do my co-op work and I really need to get good grades so I can get a scholarship. I'm just so stressed out and frustrated.
