I work with children, I got Chicken pox exactly 10 days ago, first dot appeared on the Thursday of last week, I wanted to know how long am I contagious for, and is it safe to have sex?..they are scabby and falling off now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well , yes it is contagious if you rub against someone's skin. Try not to touch anybody [yet] Im sure you have special ointment to apply on them. Wouldnt consider 'sex' yet . If you go to your doctor and get a quick checkup. he can prescribe an ointment to take it. If its true, Im sure chicken pox only happen once. You might need to get a shot for sure.
