So ive had these same eight friends for about 12 years now. And even though we all go to different colleges (even some out of state) we always meet up when its one of our birthdays or something special. They're really awesome friends and incredibly intelligent.
So Im wondering now, how many of you guys have friends like these? That you have known forever, and our willing to come all the way down from different states just to celebrate your birthday and what not. I feel incredibly lucky to have eight.

You ARE lucky. I've lived in Alberta for half my life, and New Brunswick half my life. Most of my good friends are in Alberta. But now im back in New Brunswick for good, and I'm the one left making all the plans to visit.

you are pretty lucky. I had a friend i knew since i was 4(so about 16 years). he committed suicide. hang on to your friends, they're the best memories you'll ever have.

Aw. im sorry to hear that dollface. Unfortunately i had one of those to, and i feel bad because i feel i should've been there more often then i was. But you have to learn to live with it and go on. I agree i love my friends to death and ill never ever give them up for anything
