I've been looking for a full time job since I left college in June. I have a part time cleaning job that brings in some money but that's all. A month or so ago I had a job interview for the role of a support worker, which means working with disabled people. I got the job, yet turned it down because I felt it just wasn't for me. I've wanted to work in social care for a couple of years now but recently I've realised something... It's more so my Mum's dream then mine. I, honestly, want to be a games journalist.
I've decided I'm not in a rush to land a career, after all I'm only 18. So I applied for a job over the Christmas period at Gamestation. Today I get a call and I have an interview on Saturday for it.
I'm really pleased but I think people expect more of me. In comparison to being a support worker, I guess it's nothing. But it's something I'd like to do.
Not sure where I'm going with this topic. I just wanted to see if other people realise that they have been carrying out their parents dreams instead of their own?

I'd start a revolution, if only i could get up in the morning.
