Hey anonymous! My name is Shaun. I took psych courses in school, and now it's my major. I feel somewhat knowledgeable in this area, and I'll share some of my thoughts.
A lot of what we discussed about OCD is exactly what you have described here. Compulsions are not the only thing involved with this disorder. There is another element called intrusive thought, which you have described yourself as having. Most people experience some form of obsessive or compulsive behavior. It becomes a disorder when one other key element comes into play. This element is interference with your day to day activities. If your thoughts are distracting enough that it is starting to effect your life negatively, such as if you can't pay attention in class causing falling grades, then it is necessary to seek therapy for these issues.

Try taking these exams and seeing where that gets you. Just know that a lot of people have these thoughts, or something similar. It's okay for that to happen. It doesn't make you a bad person, and you will be able to work through it.
I would be happy to help you out more, if you would like. Feel free to message me, or if you want to keep your anonymity then respond in this topic, I will keep watching it.
You're going to get through this! Many have it much worse.
-Shaun
