I don't need to be addicted to alcohol or drugs to crave them because when you're unhappy it's like you crave anything that will take it away. I don't use compulsively, these feelings just worry me. Needing to escape so bad.

Honestly, do you [feel the need to] self-medicate? Answer anonymous if you're uncomfortable admitting it openly.

I did mean intoxicating drugs but people do self-medicate with tobacco. It's proven that unhappy people smoke more cigarettes. When I used to smoke cigarettes were comforting. Like a hug or something.

it is comforting now it just makes me feel a million times worse even sometimes brings tears to me because i dont want to anymore due to i got a new life starting next month
