I was just informed by my sons father that he refuses to put his name on the birth certificate.


IS there anything i can do about this?

You can consult a lawyer and ask for a paternity test.

Well i have to report to my caseworker when my son is born. Which will be within the next few days. Apparently all i do is give them his name and they'll find him. He wont give me his new address or anything.

All i have is his phone number.

Ufortunately' she cannot make him do it.  Nor does he have to sign it.  All he has to do us say that he doesnt want to or doesn't believe he is the father.  op if you want him on there you will have to take him to court.  I would highly suggest it.  If you dont he can refuse child support later on and you will then have to prove that the child is his.   Unless you are willing to allow him to sign away all parental rights which means no child support no visitation etc.
