Okay, I just need to rant here for a minute, k? I stayed home from school today because I'm sick, and my mom basically said before she left that she's calling my assistant principal to get me a detention. Nice, mom. I'm seventeen and a senior... I should be able to make my own decisions. Also, last night after she had screamed at me and made me cry several different times, I threw her car keys at her. Now she's not coming to my DECA induction, even though she knows it's really important to me, I'm the community service project manager this year and I would have liked for her to be there. She's always like this. My dad lives 1,300 miles away and I never see him, and I just want my real parents back.  My friends don't make time for me anymore, I've never had a boyfriend (or even kissed a guy) and feel like I never will, and I'm really self-conscious of my grades so I feel like I'm going to be at a community college next year and living at home while they go off to these private schools that they can actually afford. I know God's putting me through all this for a reason but I wish I knew what it was.

Wait it out with your mom. When you get into college you'll get along with your parents better. As for not being able to afford college, you sound like an ambitious person. Have you explored your scholarship options? Because I DON'T advise you to go to community college your first year.

damn my mums been laying into me recently about effort with my course exams and paying her 4.....my parents are divorced so i only live with my mum and Hate my father.
