I got picked to sing a solo in my choir for a song in Spanish, Riu Riu Chiu. I can't speak Spanish and I don't know anyone who can. I sing verse 5:

Este viene a dar a los muertos vida
y viene a reparar de todos la caída;
es la luz del día aqueste muçuelo;
este es el cordero que San Juan dixera.

How do you say muçuelo? Is the x silent, like in Mexico? If anyone feels like recording themselves saying this I'll be forever gratefull. But even just a bit of help would be nice.  We sing acapella, so everyone will hear any mistake I make.

I really should have just taken Spanish for my foreign language.

Este viene a dar a los muertos vida
[es-tay vee-en-ay ah darr a low-s moo-er-tos vee-da]

y viene a reparar de todos la caída;
[ee vee-en-ay ah reh-pad-a de tah-dos la ???]

es la luz del día aqueste muçuelo;
[es la loose del dee-ah ah-kays-tay moo-quelo]

este es el cordero que San Juan dixera
[es-tah es el cor-der-o kay san wahn deex-erd-a]

caída MIGHT be like say-ee-da.
and
dixera make sure to kinda roll the R, with a d sound.

and on muçuelo make sure to NOT say
moo-kay-lo.
it should be like
moo-kway-lo.

Good luck, I hope that helped. I don't know spanish, but I took a class last year, so I know how to pronounce the letters and stuff.

I'd pronounce mucuelo - mooswelo.  The thing under the c makes an s-sound in French, and Spanish doesn't have that so I'd guess it's from French.  And I'd pronounce the x like the one in Mexico.  I don't speak the language, but that's how I'd pronounce it.

caida = kye ee' da

dixera = dee air' a

id even k why the x is there, I suppose it's an old spelling. The word nowadays is spelled diera.

this looks like a really OLLLLD Spanish.
