It looks so damn clean.

I need to get into the habit of doing 40L water changes every week, I think.

Thats a lot of water.

Not really.

Not when you consider that it's a 180L tank.

I have trouble keeping mine clean as well. I really want to change the type of filter I use. The one I have isn't cutting it, as it gets very dirty in a week easily.

Its bad changing the water all the time... You should never change the full amount of water only when you completely clean it out which shouldnt be very often!

Should clean it out without taking it out and change only 2/3 of the water in there... I cant remember why exactly but its something about the chemicals in the water and the fish getting used to it or something along those lines

That's not what she meant at all... She said it was an 180L tank and was changing 40L.

Yeah, I know. I need to get a BioWheel soon, I think. And more bottom feeders. My family has a habit of overfeeding my fishes

Actually, it's a 180L tank. So I'm only changing like a fifth of the water.

It's to do with bacterial levels in the water.

yeah it was fish and water
but when the water went in the sink so did the fish.
i didnt know a way to get the water out without the fish
so they all went in the garbage disposal.

They're tank-bred fish.
