I'm doing my french gcse mocks in three weeks (ahh!) but it's not that bad. be prepared to work hard and remember your verb conjugations, and don't so spanish at the same time! I get so confused!

it's not hard, comparitively.

i grew up speaking both and i'm trying to learn russian now.
French and english use the same alphabet, and there aren't many sounds in the french language that are hard for an anglo to pronounce. once you've got your r's rolling and understand the spelling v. pronounciation that is sometimes confusing, you'll be well on your way.

Learning any foreign language during/after adolescence is difficult. With French at least, you'll find plenty of words in common with English (especially -tion words), the grammar isn't horribly difficult, and there's plenty of ways to get exposed to the language.

It's as hard to learn french as almost any other language.
Languages are really hard to learn. but french is fun.
I'm learning it now and my teacher always says its a lot harder for french people to learn english.

How hard it is to learn any given language depends largely on the language(s) you already speak/are familiar with. You can't honestly believe that an English speaker would have as much difficulty learning French as they would learning Vietnamese?
