1) Pro ana is a group of communities that support anorexia and bulimia sharing tips and tricks with each other to what they call 'fast and effective' weight loss.
2) I myself was stuck in the pro ana/mia rings for a while, but now that I am out of it I think its SICK and all those who are stuck in it will not know how destrcutive it is untill they are out -if they ever DO get out or survive to see the other side
3) There are many of them on Facebook, Myspace, Live journal is known for its pro ana groups.

pro ana means for anorexia it means that you support the disease i am pro ana and i am completely controlled by the disease i guess you could call it and one of the most popular pro ana sites was blue dragonfly but i think it is currently shut down just type pro ana in to a google search and you will find tons the sites are just like a place for people who support the disorder of anorexia or (pro mia sites support bulimia) and it is a place for us to meet friends and learn tips and tricks to perfect ourselves. Proana, is what you should call yourself if you have a eating disorder and aspire towards very thin people... me - i used to be proana.... i aint no more its all photoshopped to be honest. but all it is is things like quotes, pictures, tips etc...
2. how do you feel about it? i would love for all sites to be shut down... but that will never happen. although i do go on a pro ana site to talk to some people ive "met" and made "friends" with since my e.d started
