if i have borderline personalitiy disorder, and seeing as how its a horrible and permanent one at that, is there no other diseases or disorders that could explain why i'm like this? I always kind of figured it's because i almost died inside my mom and it kind of messed up my thinking...im looking into forms of autism to help explain, or at least something to help get rid of the Depersonalization i feel all the time. and from what i read, it's only caused by emotions or memories too horrible so you "split".

but im wondering

im sure there is some other way of treating this besides pills pills and more pills? which btw i've been on every single one, literally. thanks.

I really don't want to be this person, but I've known a girl with undiagnosed BPD.  In my opinion, the best way to get over it is to "think yourself out of it."
Stop reading all the psych stuff.  Depersonalization is much more uncommon than they'd have you believe.  I predict that nothing is wrong with you.

What will be the most beneficial is if you admit to yourself that you are normal.  If anything, you just have some personality quirks that can be corrected through simple behavior modification, stuff you can do yourself.  It's certainly not permanent if you take this approach, but you HAVE to believe in it.  Trust me.

You're welcome to PM me if you wanna talk about it.
