Kittens are annoying!! Cats are great, mine used to just sit/sleep on its armchair all day!

Cats are very independent. It's not hard to have a cat if you love it; just give it good food, clean water and clean the litter box regularly. I have a cat... PM me if you need to ask something.

once you get a cat and they are use to you, it's a breeze. when i first got mine they would hide under the sofas and it was difficult to play within them bc they were scared and would run away from you........they are so sweet now:)
------- oh, wow! I see you.

Cats can pretty much take care of themselves, however, its important that you feed them daily, clean their litter boxes daily, and make sure you get them the proper health care (Such as vaccines, and spaying or neutering) If you choose to declaw them, I recommend doing it while they are getting "fixed." If not, I would recommend trimming their nails every few weeks. (you'd have to trim the back claws anyway if you got them declawed) As long as you give them a happy and healthy environment, they'll be fine.
