1. It doesn't matter what hair color you have.
2. Depends on what kind of visa you have. If you're going there as a tourist, you need nothing but a passport and a valid American visa. If you're going there as a student, you need your I20 or a DS2019 form signed by the college you are going to.

No, they are probably used to that sort of thing. They might look twice, but as long as the rest of you looks the same, it should be fine.
Just make sure you have enough time left on your passport, I didn't and was kept in immigration for 5 hours, until I could pay up for an extension.
