...when you're in college to go to a review session before a test, DO IT.
I didn't the last test, and I was like "shit" and my grades pretty much reflected that.  Then, this week I went to the review session and I flew through that test like it was homework where the answers are right there in the book in bold print.  I feel REALLY good about the tests I took today.

So the moral here?  Take advantage of the help they offer at college, because tests make or break your grade in most classes.

Its true. Colleges do a lot to help people, most just never take advantage of it.

If I feel I've done well on a test, I generally haven't, and vice versa.

I've learnt to just not try and judge how well I've done.

I never really study anyway, the only two classes I do study for are the ones I don't show up for until the day of the test. I went to a study group once and it was alright for freshening my memory, but I'd normally rather be doing something else. I can see how it would be really good for people who spend a good amount of time studying though.

Study session are really good for classes that are known to be difficult (Organic, Multivariable Calc, Electricity and Magnetism, etc.).

I agree. It seems like my professors make it almost impossible to fail. They give us tutoring and review sessions, give us study guides almost identical to the tests, and post lecture notes online. what more could you ask for?
