Yes i was, but not very often. When i was young all my mother had to do was raise her voice to me and I'm get upset, so she rarely needed to smack me.

the bottom one but i was anything but a wild child... 'spare the rod, spoil the child' that was my dads motto. ugh... i dont think it is necessary, for me it just made me resentful and humiliated... and its done too much out of anger, its just too risky i dont think people should do it, i mean its so easy to get carried away... im not sure it has really effected me, but it might have. i would advice people not to do it.
