my boyfriends little sister gave me head lice a few weeks ago and now im in the process of treating it. My moms pissed and she wont let me go over to their house anymore until his sister gets rid of it.

She's had it for like 2 months now or something and she cant get rid of it. it doesnt help that no one forces her to shower everyday (shes eight years old by the way). its a 30 minute drive to get to his house, and neither of us have a car so we rely on buses. which is a 2 to a 2 1/2 hour trip.

that means we could only see eachother on weekends anyways (i can sleep over at his house but he's not allowed to sleep over at mine). but now that im not allowed over there until her lice are gone, i dont know when i'll be able to spend more than a couple hours with my bf :(

advice?

You should advise your boyfriend's parent's of the severity of Head Lice. If it's found out that her parents aren't treating it properly, Child Protective Services could become involved for "neglect". Lice is uncomfortable, as I'm sure you know. Poor little girl. Remember, she's EIGHT. It's not her fault. Her mother or father should help her bathe to get rid of it.

You're contradicting yourself. You first stated that they're doing nothing to help her - now you're saying they DO comb her hair and give her treatment.

If the lice isn't going away, and they're doing all they can, how can they be the blame?
