Long story short, I killed my old laptop, and got a new one today.

I now need to get all the songs from my iPod onto this new computer. I just spent quite some time on Google, but have yet to find any program that is free that will rip more than 50 songs. I have several thousand.

nex time you get all of yur songs, DONT SAVE THEM TO YOUR COMPUTER! If youhave alot of room on your iPod, then save them ONTO there. Like plug it in, go to computer, then to whereever you iPod is [cause its a USB] an make an extra folder that says "Music" [or wtv u want] ONTO your iPod, then drag and drop the songs into that folder.

u an even make different folders in the "MUSIC" folder you created to sepeate by genre. then you will have nothing to worry about :)

soon as you do that, just drag and drop onto your iTunes. and everytime you plyug it in, it will know wher the songs are.
and even better: You wont lose much memory on your computer AND you'll always know where the songs are!!!

[I thought of it when my iPod lost ALLL its songs, and now my music is always gonna be there :)]
