The Scoop does not have enough on board memory for a bunch of Full MP3's. You'll definitely need a Micro SD Card. They're only like $15 for 2 gigs and that includes 3 bigger card adapters and the USB reader. I have this one for my LG Glimmer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134545

You WILL have to purchase an SD card if you want to store large amounts of music on the phone. You mentioned your computer has bluetooth? You can transfer music via bluetooth to your phone (provided your phone has bluetooth). But to do this you will need an SD card within the phone. To send the files, open your bluetooth network on your computer, and turn on the bluetooth on your phone (make sure its visibility is on). Browse the devices the bluetooth on your computer picks up, and then select your phone, once you see it. Open it (you may have to pair it. The computer and phone will ask for a key. Simply type 0000 into the phone and the computer if it asks for a pairing key), and select phone card F:/ (this is the SD card, when you have it). Then you can create a folder for music in there, open it, and simply drag the music in there with your mouse If you have any questions, ask me, cause I deal with this everyday -CS
