Should I use my car to advertise a campus event?

My class is putting on an event on campus to help end hate and discrimination on campus. I'm on the promotions committee for the event. I've just basically done the typical advertising: hang up fliers, talk to classes, and sent out event invitations on Facebook. Those are pretty generic and my professor wanted creative activities.

The event is this coming week. Do you think it would be a bad idea to use window paint and write on the back window of my car the information for the event? I'd probably write it out like this:

Name of Event
Date
Time
Location

This is Minnesota and I'm not sure if it's illegal to write on the back windows as a safety violation. I wouldn't go into detail, just have the name, date, time and place. But another thing is I don't want to draw negative attention to my car. Such as if some racist sees this on my car, gets mad at the event, and keys my car; or something of the sort. It's a Monte Carlo so it's a pretty sharp car, not like I'm driving around an old beater. There hasn't been much problem around here with vandalism or crimes in general; this area is generally pretty mellow.

We have to put together a porfolio of our work on the project so I'd take pictures of my decorated car as well as it on campus. I think my professor would certainly consider this creative. I'd take it off my car as soon as the event is over. But do you think this is a wise decision to use my car like this or not? I'd be annoyed if I came out and found a rock in the windshield of my car.

No, just go for it. If you write on the back of your car with car paint, you can still see out the back, so it isn't a safety violation. One of my friends did that for an event she sort of promotes.

What? Are you asking why I'd take pictures of my car or you want to see pictures of my car? Yeah, the professor would probably want some evidence that I actually did some advertising work and not just bullshitting about it.
