I was a christian since I can ever remember. I went to church, youthgroup, sunday school, bible schools, workcamp. I was baptized. I had numerous bibles and was high on the love of christ. When i got to highschool I was ridiculed for my beliefs and starting slipping away. I started drinking alcohol, smoking ciggarettes, and smoking weed. I have been videotaped doing things with guys when I wasnt even conscious anything was going on. I have considered suicide, cut myself, and let myself be used by guys over an over. I couldn't be farther from my family. Im at a christian collegee now and I hate it. So many rules to follow and I feel like Im being shoved back into my beliefs. I feel like I need God but I still want the guys back home to like me, and that means Id have to have sex with them. And my friends too hanging out with them involves partying and going crazy. Im one of those people who thinks they can wait to rededicate their lives to christ, but how long am I going to wait. I want to have fun while I still can yet be religious? I dunno. If you feel like you have do have sex with guys for them to like you then you arent looking at the right guys......A guy thats gonna repect you will like you for you not what he can get from you......If you want to get back into your religion I would suggest taking a long hard look at how you view life.....you said you want to wait to rededicate your life to God....well guess what hunny God isnt going to wait forever for you to make a decision to come back to him......you dont want to be left behind
I suggest doing a lot of praying and soul searching and maybe talking to a religous person you truely trust

im in the same situation. i don't like that i was told to "turn the other cheek" in the face of situations, it really fucks with you self confidence. think of it like this: religion is basically giant arrows that guide you, and you can choose to follow them.

Ok just because you are or were a religious person doesn't mean that you can't have fun or live life. You let the pressure that your peers were putting on you get to you for the worst. You should really consider letting GOD back into your life and mend the broken bounds with your family because that just may be the best thing for you.

The reason why you were ridiculed for your beliefs was because you were a threat to the darkness, you were becoming an authority of God. But you fell into one of the many snares satan puts out for those who have a great destiny. Remember that Lucifer only has three things on his mind, "to kill, steal, and destroy." You may have fallen but there is still hope for you. Ask God for help, Knock and he will answer. Surround yourself with friends who wish not to harm you but support and nurture you. Friends who wish for you to succeed not to fail.
