My nan has two friends who are married to each other. My nan and granddad meet with them at least 4 times a week. The other day i asked my nan how she knew them and she told me that she met them when she was 8 and their mothers all knew each other and my nan is now 68, so those 3 have all been friends for 60 years. I was literally amazed by that story.

Both of my parents are still best friends with their best friends. My dad is still with his high school best friend, and my mom with her best friend from when they were toddlers. I pretty much consider them aunts and uncles. It's possible, but not if they aren't compatible as friends or whatever.
