What's it like when you're given anesthesia? I've gotten surgery before, but I never used it. The doctors operate on me while I'm conscious. And, I was just curious, and I wanted to know what it's like.

You fall asleep within 10 seconds, and then you wake up with this damn awful taste in your mouth that doesn't go away for days no matter what you eat.
Oh but if it's not a general anesthetic, then you just feel drowsy and sort of high, and numb.

You are still conscious, but the area is paralyzed or numbed. Kinda like when you get something done at the dentist.

No. I can't feel pain, so I don't need anything to numb me.
