Okay, so! I'm about to go to beauty to school to get my hair cutting and dyeing license. I know a lot about hair, I'm just wondering...What are the best techniques to get volume, and that little poof on the crown of your head?

Depends on your hair length. Short hair can usually get volume easily with blow drying, product, and slight teasing at the roots. Long hair does very well with hot rollers, product, and of course blow drying.
Never underestimate the power of your dryer. They work wonders.
