I wunt a tragus piercing. How long does it take to heal? I googled but am getting diff results. :/

Also, someone told me it was more painful than any other piercing she's ever had (she has nearly 20 lol). Is it really that bad?

It's been three weeks since I had a decent sleep,
In an empty bed with a restless head,
These thoughts are killing me so...

Yeah I've found stuff saying it's a couple of months. Some things said upto 6 months. I'm probably the latter. My piercings always seem to close up really quickly if I don't wear jewellery...even piercings I've had for years. It's weird.

Do you know if it is as painful as she said?

It hurts! Cartilage piercings always do. Hurt more than my eyebrow and my lip combined. Yeah,y ou won't be able to take the jewellery out or it'll heal within a few hours, same goes with any piercing really. The exception seems to be lobes...

God, even my earlobes closed up after years of wearing earrings. I think I must heal quickly..

I've had a regular cartilage piercing before. The piercing itself wasn't painful, it was the healing & catching it on stuff that was horrible.

I have a high pain tolerance, but I'm scared..lawl.

I've had my monroe for over two years now:

And a few days ago I got my back done:

I'd like to get my septum pierced, I've been playing with the idea of gauging my ears a small amount, and I'd like to get a microdermal on my upper cheek area.
I have to wait for the first and last though because I'm technically not even supposed to have the piercing on my face at my job, but they let it slide because it's not a big deal unless corporate is there.

I have two 16G lobes on each ear. In a month I turn 18, which means I'm getting more. :D

I want my right eyebrow, right helix, left ear spiral, and navel done. I also would want tongue or lip, but I have an enamel deficiency, so it'd probably be dumb.  I'm going to get probably the helix, eyebrow, and navel at once if I can affort it.

And I want tattoos.

A dragon on my one of my ankles 'cause I've loved dragons since I was 12 and they have positive protective meaning for me.  A phoenix or lotus to celebrate rebirth.  I had a friend who was sexually abusive.  It'll remind me to keep going.  And a blackbird with the words take these broken wings and learn to fly.

Music.  I don't know what yet, but either a few bars of music somewhere or a treble clef.  I'v been singing in choir since I was in 4th grade and doing voice lessons since 9th, so it's a big part of my life.  And some woman/male pagan symbols, for sure.  Tripple goddess and Horned God, possibly.  Maybe  Celtic shield knot.  Something to keep my spiritually strong, but this won't be for a while.
