and yes there are excuses. look it up.  do research. people have diff reasons.
no i dont concider people who cut outsiders because the most random people you would never guess, do cut.

i don't know. everyone cuts for their own reasons, I guess those are considered excuses?

Well, if they completely throw themselves out of society and don't make an effort, then yes. but if they try to make friends and can have fun then no.

i used to cut.. and no body really understands unless they've done it.
not saying u should. just dont judge something ur not familiar with.

I already have an understanding, I just want other people to understand, I do cut, and is trying not to... Hard! any tips on how to stop? (preferable without going crazy) Thanks for your input.

No one is normal, so you can't call cutters normal.

I just don't think there is an excuse to do that to yourself. You should seek help.

2. i had an excuse to cut myself. i guess it wasn't an excuse, but more like a reason.  reason and excuse have two different meanings.

I used to cut. And no, I don't think it's normal, but it is also not as weird as people make it out to be.

I think childhood can make an impact on if someone cuts. When I was little I used to self harm in other ways, plus I was taught to keep my emotions to myself, so that also effected on weither I cut or not.

Cutters are just like everyone else. In fact you may know someone who cuts.
