Ok so I really want to attend my high school prom, I'm a junior and never been to a real one before. The problem is my younger sister has her 13th birthday party and a mandatory church service that same weekend. That really bothers me and my mom won't take me to the prom because of those reasons. My grandmother volunteered to take me there if my mom says it's ok, but knowing her she won't. My mom's main concern is church which really bothers me since I hate it. People at my church have always made fun of my seizures/epilepsy and it's horrifying. Anyway, point is, I'd be extremely disappointed and mad if my mom won't let me go to the prom. It's not fair since I'll probably be the only one at school who can't go for such a stupid reason. My sister ruins everything, she refuses to be nice to me and makes fun of my seizures. I feel like I can never do anything social all because of her. What do you think I should do? Thanks xx
