For the past few months, I've been constantly worried about dying, or someone I love dying. I always think about how sad or guilty my parents and younger siblings would be if I died(but I am very greatful I have a loving family), and what my family would be if I wasn't here. I don't evn like to think about the future or talk about it with my parents because I don't know if I'll make it, and I wouldn't want them to be sad knowing all the things I wanted to do but never got to. It's gotten to the point where sometimes, I'll do things like drive somewhere the long way because I'm scared I'll die in a car accident on the busier streets. The other night I was in a grocery store parking lot a lone, and for no reason, I just freaked out and was scared I would get shot, so I basically had to run to my car. I also worry constantly about someone in my family dying. I imagine the stupidest and most unreasonable things, but even though I know they're dumb, I can't help but worry. I can't ever go to bed, hang up the phone, or leave my house without making sure they know I love them, I'm not saying that this is a bad habit, but if I don't, I get really stressed if I'm unable to tell them this, and just bothers me all day. Does anyone know why I can't stop worrying or how I can stop it? I don't really want to talk to my parents about it yet because I feel like they would think I'm crazy, or I'm trying to get attention. I know this was a really long post, but thanks for reading, any advice would be helpful.

I'm sorry you are feeling like that toward yourself. You don't seem crazy or anything at all as far as I can tell. If I were you I would tell your parents or a close friend of yours to help you. I am not a certified doctor or anything but I think that might help a little if people knew your situation a little more. It sure couldn't really hurt anything. If you have any questions you can message me. I hope everything works out!!!
