you don't make sense. they are not lovingly cared for. they are kept in filthy, wire bottom cages in a filthy barn. they never go outside or see the sun.
The animals are tortured inhumanely. People should not be buying the animals, because buying the animals supports the companies that are torturing the animals. It is better to CLOSE OF PET MILLS and adopt the pets. It is outright wrong to support companies that abuse animals.
Right, every single puppy "mill" treats dog inhumanely...that's major BS. You sound no different than a PETA activist.
Breeders take care of their animals. Puppy mills do not. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. There is a very specific reason that puppy mill dogs are cheaper. Post edited at 1:19 pm on Oct. 10, 2008 by carracer

I can't believe you are sitting here trying to defend puppy mills. You, I thought, were actually intelligent. Clearly I was wrong.

No responsible breeder allows a pet store to sell their puppies. No responsible breeder allows their puppies to go to homes that have not been checked, to be sold without any guarantees, to be taken from their mothers earlier than 8-12 weeks depending on breed, to be shoved into tiny cages where they get little-to-no exercise, to be sold for outrageous prices. Not one. End of story. Any and all responsible breeders will tell you that.
I call bullshit on the animals being shoved into tiny cages where they get no exercise. I call bullshit on the entire, irrational, meritless claim that ALL puppies bred in farm-like conditions are treated inhumanely. As I said earlier, the only evidence I've seen to support a PETA activists claim that the puppies are mistreated is one or two videos showing puppies in inhumane conditions. Again, these sparse examples do not rationally allow a generalization to be made on all such places. Do you know the term, "generalization"?
