I'm a vegan, but I understand that it's my choice and not to be forced on my family. When I go shopping, I buy healthy foods and both things vegan and non-vegan, and most vegan things I buy are things that they'll still eat. My life revolves around supporting my family.

I gave my sister most of my paycheck today and asked her to do the grocery shopping, since I needed to dye my hair (it's gray naturally) and go to work. After work, I chilled with a friend of mine. I come home, and they bought tons of junk food and processed shit, spent about half the money I gave them on huge packages of raw meat and deli meat, and didn't buy anything I can eat. So now I get to be hungry until my next fucking paycheck.

I'd think they should show me a little tiny bit of courtesey, seeing as it's me who puts the food on the table. I had to spend MORE money at the grocery store to buy food I can actually eat without a) breaking my beliefs and b) making myself extremely sick, because I can't handle animal products anymore (if you break vegetarianism/veganism, you have to slowly reintroduce those products into your diet, so your body can handle the change).

I'm so sick of being taken advantage of and leeched off of. The stress is hugely taking its toll on me.

Luckily, I'm leaving for India, hopefully by the end of the year.

Fuck this shit.

Next time, don't buy any meat and tell them to fucking live with it. They should be paying for SOMETHING, not relying on you for everything.
