the downsides I can see is sometimes the people take the pills and they dont work.

I'm against it as while you are relieving yourself from your problems and your pain, your also putting a lot of pain on your loved ones. It's selfish, but then again should you have to live for someone else? It's a complex situation.

and illegal? What?...

Most people involved in assisted suicide are terminal.

And yes, it is illegal in a ton of places.

From what I learned about it, its not A pill, but a bunch of them and you're supposed to take so many for so many days until you die

the people did that and for some reason some of them didnt die.

That sounds like a better bet. This was taught to me about 3 years ago, so im sure its changed now
