Have you ever felt guilty for being in love?
looking around at this world with so much injustice, with rape and abuse and relationships without love
Because you know what you're worth. and you're never going to settle for less
You ever felt guilty cuz you know, when you get up in the morning both your parents are going to be there?
That when you come home you'll still be a family, and even if there's fighting it's healthy and it's not going to be blamed on you.
Ever felt guilty for wearing the clothes you like?
cuz you can afford it
you have nothing to hide (no cuts or bruises to mark your skin)
And because you don't have to dress a certain way to impress the people in your life?
Felt guilty because your smile comes easy?
because you know how to take the small joys out of life
you know that everyday is a new chance to make things better
Because you know that 5 years from now, most of this won't matter
And because you know, that someday, tomorrow will be too late
Guilty, of being happy

o dont get me wrong i deff appreciate it. i just see alot of misfortune in my friends lives and everyonce and a while (not often) the guilt will creep up. usually i am very thankful for everything i have
