I'm going with Windows Mobile, purely because it's the only PDA system that I've ever used that made any kind of sense to me.

To Mend and Defend Patron Tech Support Leader
Windows Mobile systems have a greater range of programs out there, especially for free.
I would of course recommend 500+mhz processor and a VGA-type screen resolution, if you can afford it.
