my boyfriend and i have been together for a year now, and have been talking about marriage for 6 months. we cannot get enough of eachother and are very dynamic together. we are both pentacostal christians and really value the commitment of traditional(lifelong) marriage. he has told me that he would do anything to marry me right now, he has even proposed(unoffically) with a promise ring. the only problem is we are both just starting college. i live with my parents and his mom is letting him landlord her old house(he has roomates). I feel like i want to get married now, but he thinks it would be best to wait because of the money situation. i am worried that we might be tempted by the typical college lifestyle, and seperate as a result. I DO NOT WANT THIS! would it be  best for us to be single or married through college? i really need anyone's input. message me if you have good advice. thanks.

To be quite honest, if you're afraid you're going to separate due to "typical college style", you're going to go insane during marriage.

If you're worried that you might be tempted by other things, that's a good sign that you need to wait.

I agree with him you should both wait, if your love is true and no doubt is then waiting for the proper time would be the best answer. Everyone would respect your decision to wait as well, my suggestion is to make your plans to be married with an engagement to last until your both settled whats the hurry.

I think you guys should wait, its only been 6 months and as you said you guys cant get enough of eachother, but thats probly just still a bit of the puppy love phase. Whats the problem in waiting?

Well if you have a solid relationship and you have money problems there wont be any harm in waiting. Beside is worst comes to worst if your not married then no doubt it would have happened in marriage and this way it'll be less messy. So just wait you'll be fine.

Don't get married right away just because you're afraid you're going to break up during college. If it's going to happen, it will happen. You don't want to stress your married life anymore than need be- trust me. My sister is going through one hell of a married life right now because she thought it would be a great idea to rush into the married life.

If it's meant to be and has the strength that you say you do, just wait it out.

I would wait if I were you. You should be with him for a while longer before making such an important decision. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years practically and we're still learning things about each other. I know I'm not ready for marriage.

Give it time.
