Torrents contains all kinds of stuff such as music, videos, games and other bunch of stuff... First you have to download a program called bittorrent... I used that one...

I have used torrents to download files less than 1 megabyte in size.  Not very big.

I download plenty of legal files through torrents.  Many freeware and open-source programs are available through torrents.  As for clients, I prefer uTorrent over all others.

A torrent (.torrent) is a file that when used with a torrent client is able to download certain files or folders that are hosted by other users.
