Ok so here is my dilemma. I am flying 3 different airlines. From Omaha to Denver I am flying with Frontier. I am then transferring to United to fly to Seattle and then Portland. I return home with Delta flying to Minneapolis and then back to Omaha, both with delta. My question is about ticketing. I booked using Orbitz and I got my itinerary about my flight. Do i have to check in with Frontier and United before I leave Omaha? Or check in with United in Denver? I have no idea how flying multiple airlines actually works and I emailed Orbitz and the response was very vague. Would i have to check in at United in denver?

My mom used to work for Delta and I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with just checking in with Frontier.  You can also ask to get any bags you're checking to be checked to your final destination.  The Frontier staff would also be happy to help you when you check in too.  You'll be fine.  Promise.

Either way as long as you don't incurr additional things to check it shouldn't mater. Pay attention to your gates as they may not be next to each other during your layover. Airlines have all of their gates next to eachother usallay
