So, I'm sort-of having a parental issue. I was talking to my best friend's brother, who I know, and I brought up how my parents will buy me booze no problem, and then he mentioned something. He said that how Dana, who is the daughter of a guy we hunt with (She's like, 20) and him saw my mom walk buy one night, and she then said to him "Haha, she's such a funny stoner." Pat was like "What the fuck?" and she explained to him how since they all are friends, my parents and hers, they smoke weed and shit. And this really concerns me, considering I've never thought about it before.

And then, this morning, I saw a lighter on the table, which is fine, because I know my mom smokes, and so I was like "Hey, I'll trade you my normal sized lighter for this mini one, I like them better" (When really, I have this nice case, and I need a small one for it. I don't use the lighter much, just in case) and she's like "Why do you have a lighter? To smoke dope?" I didn't think much of it until afterwards.

And so, I told my best friend what his brother had said, and he was like "Well, I have smelled it in your back yard, I just didn't think it was them because you have ... (he reminds me of my house enclosed by houses of potheads) and it would've been awkward to ask"

So. I'm worried, that my parents actually might do weed. They've never said their opinions about it. They don't care about drinking, I know, but fuck, I hope they don't smoke weed.

Anyways, don't put the pot on a pedestal, if that makes any sense at all, lol. I know your immediate reaction is "omg drugs", but just calm down and think about it logically. It's just a plant, it is not harmful at all, and the only think it can do, is make them calm (basically).

I do understand how this could be a shock, however. I can imagine a situation like that for me, i would be shocked at first.

Just calm down man.

Honestly, weed isn't all that bad. NO, i'm not a "stoner" or anything, so i'm not saying that in "defense" of pot. I smoked pot once or twice, that's it.

I'm not straightedge, if that's what you're thinking. I've even tried it myself. Which is why I'm thinking "What is there to worry about" but for some reason, it still worries me.
