Eh. I'm not going to be able to say for sure until I see how the country ends up during his presidency. I understand things aren't going to be able to be fixed quickly...we're in quite a huge mess right now economically. But hey, if he can do it then kudos to him.
The sad thing is, is that his biggest issue he is probably going to deal with in office is going to be not getting killed because of his skin color and background. And it makes me mad that it's an issue at all but so many people are just unwilling to see passed the exterior of a human being.

Very unhappy. McCain wasn't much better but I would have rather him than the Obama. And for the last time it is NOT because he is black and I am NOT a conservative Christian. I'm glad McCain didn't take the oval office. Some people are treating him like the Second Coming, and thus setting themselves up for disappointment. I am looking forward to seeing what a Democratic presidency will be like after 8 years of a Republican presidency. The thing is, Barack is only human. He will make mistakes. But those mistakes will be a test. It will show who truly supports him, and who jumped on the bandwagon because their friends were doing it.
Isn't it about time to change the title of this thread? He's no longer the presumed President-elect and in a few days he will be sworn in as the President.
