Well I found this conversation on the news funny.
Katie Couric and this dude were talking about, of course, the election.
And I'm not sure what the guy was saying but the conversation went like this:

Guy: "Blah Blah Blah, NevAHda"
Katie: "Nevada."
Guy: "Well now that the election is over I don't even care anymore!"

It was just funny because she jumped at him with her preferred pronunciation of "Nevada."
And I've always heard Nevada and Nevahda on the news. I don't know, slightly comical. :]
