All I said was, "Yay, Obama got [insert state name]." That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. And his response was:

By the end of our conversation, he'd said that Obama's demographic is made up of mainly freeloaders and blacks who blocked white people from voting. Add onto that stuff what he's said in the pats about people from my home state being "crazy" and I'd had enough. I'm not allowed to label him, it pisses him off. I can't say he's spoiled or selfish or ignorant, I have to allow him to have his opinion and respect it but he can say whatever the hell he wants.

So, yeah, I yelled at him. I was feeling good, I'd had a good day at school and had taken a nice nap and was ready to work and all I said was one thing...four fucking words...and I got all that thrown in my face. And now I'm to blame because I've had enough and let him know it?

That he meets a quota for multi-racial friends doesn't change anything. And beyond that, he sounds like a complete idiot.

He can be. His Dad is a doctor and makes $120,000+ a year but he wants pitied because his Mom blows all the money he makes before it even reaches the bank and they had 6 kids, never once stopping to think, "Huh, we may not be able to support this sort of lifestyle with 6 kids..." and so now they can't pay their bills...but they can, however, lay out thousands of dollars on fancy,  neat gadgets. But we're supposed to take pity on them and their fancy lifestyle and help them rather than those working their asses off just to get by. He thinks they don't deserve help and/or that it's not that hard to fix your situation. He also thinks we shouldn't do anything to fix the economy, that it'll "work itself out" so we should just move forward and don't worry about it.

I love him but his, "Fuck everyone else, help me!" attitude always sets me off.
