Right I'm doing a arts degree. I have IT, French and Human rights as subjects. These subjects can lead me into things like teaching and law and stuff like that. The prob is I would prefere to do sound engineering. I know that jobs are very little in this area. I would love to own my own indie studio some day. The chances of making a good career out of sound engineering arn't great. I like the course that I'm doing but I would prefere sound engineering? What would you do if you were in my situation?

I would take courses that are part of that field, but if you feel like you can't get anywhere with it, make sure you take courses to fall back on in case that doesn't work out.

Go for one of the first three, make a packet, go back and do a course in sound engineering and open your studio then.
