My brother is working a job where he is making much more than that, but is possibly the least frugal person I know, therefore his money just disappears and he has to scrape his ass to pay for things, when, theoretically, he should be just fine. To be out on your own so young and to manage bills, it takes being incredibly frugal and smart with your money so you don't have to suffer more than you are.

So, in a way, I commend you. You seem to understand the consequences of the decisions you make and try your best to be as safe as can be. And really, there's not much more you can do than that. Accidents happen, and if you're doing all that you can to be safe, then it's just plain bad luck.

Personally, while I still am technically under my parents' care, I couldn't imagine living on my own yet, because I know the job I'd have would be a shitty, minimum wage job that I'd be making just barely over $8.00/hr. That's shitty fucking pay, to be honest, unless I got incredibly lucky, it'd be hard.

That's interesting you see. Because by supposedly giving your boyfriend guardianship over you, she placed him in "a position of trust" over you. Now here's the really nice part. Since he's "a person of trust" over you under Colorado law, the age of consent gets raised to 17 years of age and the 10 year exception you were talking about doesn't apply. So you see, this so-called notarized temporary guardianship actually has fucked him more than he's fucking you! Nice.

At 15, it's hard enough. With school & work as well. Stnading on your own two feet is hard enough at a young age, never mind having to still go to school.

But you should think about some discounts or something, it's not her place, no. But could you handle possibly getting prgnant? I reckon you and your boyfriend have talked about the what ifs, and buts because you sound mature enough to have done so.

Just realise going on the pill as soon as it's convenient and affordable IS a good idea.
