Looking at all of our bills every month, it is around 1800 a month. Gas, food, rent, electricity, gas (for the house), water.

Which leaves us with about $200/month to ourselves.

Nope I CANNOT afford that.

It adds up. It doesn't seem like much at the time, but if you are struggling to pay bills and support yourself in only just your BASIC needs, dishing out $26 a month for a medication can really hit you hard. You have to realize that, even if it doesn't seem like a lot, you have to put yourself in the shoes of the person who says they can't afford it. You don't know her income, and you don't know the exact cost of the bills she pays and how much money she actually has to spend on herself that isn't going towards basic needs.

To us, kids who are not living on our own, maybe $26 dollars isn't a lot, but to her, maybe it is.
