Up until this point, if you looked Black, you were Black. Why all of a sudden is this being emphasized. I'm mixed as well, but considering I look Black, people write me off as being Black.

Obama is not entirely of African descent. We all know that. However, his wife, and his kids are Black. You cannot argue that at all. However, the POINT is, the guy that is now in the White House is the same guy who would have been in slavery back in the 1800's, or confined to segregated schools. That is why it's a big deal.

Biologically, a mulatto is as White as he is Black.

But, in the USA, he is LABELED as a Black.
Is that genetically proper? No, but a lot of Americans are still in the skin color fantasy.
