Im looking for some one or some people who use vintage late 60's manual cameras like Minolta SRT 101 or the old Canons and Nikons with the turn knob and so on.
I've been using one for a while now and I have a couple of questions regarding lenses. Hit me up if possible.

I use a 1979 Pentax ME Super every now and then. It's 35mm (obviously).

Well Im using a 54 MM Lens with my minolta and Im looking into getting a wide angel lens to gain more landscape space with. A wide angel lens would be a 28 mm??

That's right- 50 to 55 mm lenses for 35mm cameras were the "normal" view and 24-35 mm lenses were wide angle. 135mm and up would be the common telephoto lens. Personally I always wanted to get a good macro lens for my Pentax Spotmatic but couldn't afford one.

My teacher told me that old Russian lenses would be the best for some reason. Any speculation on that?
