I'm 1.56 m tall and I weigh 50/51 kg. My BMI is 20.5.

Technically this is a healthy weight, but I'd just like to go down to a BMI of 19.

Is that terrible? It's just under the normal weight, like a smidgen-

no it's not.
to be underweight you have to be below 18.
so to be 19 you are still classed as normal weight.
so that would be fine.

Its when your BMI gets below 18.5 that it is considered underweight so no, a BMI of 19 isn't terrible.
